OOC PREFERENCES:
•CONTACT METHOD:
•THREAD-JACKING: Go for it, but if it runs too long, take it elsewhere, please.
•FOURTH WALLING / CANON PUNCTURE: If it's 100% in your character's backstory they watched the show, then ok. Otherwise, as a general rule, I'd prefer to keep the 4th wall intact. Canon puncture... Oh, dare I to dream of getting castmates!
•BACKTAGGING: Yes!
•AVOIDED TOPICS: Real-world politics. Otherwise none I can think of. I'll update as needed.
•PREFERRED GENDER PRONOUN: She/Her. For Steve, he/him.
IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•CURRENT CANON POINT: Just after getting burned by the sun and going explodey in S6.
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: 6'1", slim-to-average build, brown hair obsessively coiffed, bright green eyes, very boyish looks. Steve has a Southern twang when he speaks. His style of dress favors crisp, vibrant suits for those all important Media Appearances. Casually he'll opt for either (stereotypical) leather jacket and black pants (Russell's Celt & Germanic influences) or khakis and sweaters. Not even cute sweaters, either. They're dark colors (avoid the bloodstains) and comfy. Oh, and his fangs slide out like a snake's.
•DEMEANOR: Generally chipper in a 'I'm-totally-your-friend-swearsies' way; or an older Reverend trying way too hard to be "cool". He's not always faking the wide smile or happier attitude, either. It's simply how he's used to acting, and he uses it frequently to mask his own insecurities, emotional baggage, and of course, distinct Lack of Cool.
•ABILITIES: TMI on True Blood vamps. Inmate Restrictions: still have his fangs, a slower healing rate, and heightened senses (with the disclaimer that he can't eavesdrop at other people's cabins.) No glamouring/hypnotizing people, and he'll still need a proper invite into anybody's cabin, which can then be rescinded at any time. His blood will still have healing capabilities if ingested, or if placed on, say, a bite mark, but I'll leave the possible drug side-effects up to Plot & Player Discussion.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: Cold to the touch, no heartbeat, very much Dead. Silver will burn like acid and incapacitate him. Quite literally, if he has silver chains draped across his neck and limbs, he's not moving or healing until those are moved.
If he's severely wounded, a serving of blood, better if its from a willing donor, will heal him up right quick. (Do note! If he gets to the point of starvation, Steve will become very primal, unable to control his actions, seeking out blood like a feral feline.) If any wooden object meets his heart, he'll explode like a gore and bloody filled balloon. It's not a pretty sight. See Abilities above for more weaknesses!
•CABIN INFORMATION: 2.12. His room from the Authority's underground location. Not pictured: a vanity mirror with his assortment of hair care products. Having no use for either a bathroom or a kitchenette, I imagine a set of sofas & chairs - matching decor, of course - nearby. The cabin door will be ebony wood, tiny peephole.
•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Hate on his (newly-discovered) sexuality would absolutely be a trigger. That would be interesting to play out as, up until recently, he condemned all homosexuals as he might a Maenad or a Werewolf. Hating on the Bible or vampire species would most likely not bother him much. Not for lack of caring, but at this point in his un-life, he understands the hate. Lastly, his ex-wife. She locked him up in vamp camp, forced him to betray everyone he knew and, oh yea, murdered him.
IC PERMISSIONS:
•MENTAL: Read his mind for some relaxing radio static. That's all you'll get.
•MIMICRY: Sure. It could be... interesting.
•VIOLENCE: Honestly, with the way he acts sometimes, it's inevitable.
•MAGIC: Necromancy only. That's the only kind that can affect him. If its something minor, like, freezing him in place, then I'm okay with it. Something more involved such as commanding him to walk into CES sunlight, I'd prefer to have some kind of advanced warning, please.
•DEBATE: Sure, that could be fun.
•OTHER / NOTES: Steve isn't always the most observant, so if you hand him something, say a gun or cross, please note somewhere if it's silver? And he'll react accordingly. (ie, very hurt and also Offended).
Just in case this ever comes up: I know not everyone is into writing out a blood-drinking scene, no matter the pleasurable feels involved. I'm more than happy to fade out/summarize whenever, and pick up after the deed is done.
ALSO, while I'm leaning very far away from Steve's more 'horny teenager/newborn vamp' tendencies, especially given his canon point, there's a good chance it might still occur. If a scene is edging in that direction, and it's very much Not Ok, absolutely pm me, and we can sort something out. The very last thing I want to do is make anyone uncomfortable.
